Using Lotus Notes & Domino, AppsWorks worked with internal Selfridges IT staff to design the approach and develop the code and features necessary to allow end users to maintain and update the site, without the need of programming knowledge.
The entire site was developed using CSSP (Cascading Style Sheet Positioning). It was built and is hosted entirely in Lotus Notes and Domino with a little help from Macromedia Flash.
AppsWorks eat their own dog food!
Our site is also built using CSSP with the AppsWorks "WebPlace" template for Domino. All content for the AppsWorks site is managed via a Lotus Notes client interface, by non programmers. We use Lotus Notes richtext fields to create all our page content. Page headers and footers are based on pre-configured document templates which can themselves incorporate CSS, HTML and JavaScript. |
